Pauline LeBlanc, L.M.T., Owner and Director
Both offices of Hands On Therapy are independently owned and directed by Pauline LeBlanc, L.M.T. She is both a licensed massage therapist (L.M.T.) and an energetic healer.
Pauline began her working career as a chemical and environmental engineer. She also earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Executive Program of the University of Chicago. During her work as an engineering consultant, her focus on outer physical structures turned inward towards the ways that energy manifests in the human body, mind, and spirit. This interest led her to earn her Professional Diploma in massage therapy from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1998. She is also Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Pauline's bodywork approach combines the best of classical therapeutic massage therapy with energetic techniques that promote groundedness and healing. A Reiki Master, she has also completed a four-year intensive training program in energy healing at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing of Boca Raton, Florida. She has completed two years of training in Hakomi for Bodyworkers to bring mindfulness to her bodywork. Pauline also brings her interests in the martial arts, dance, and movement to her work.
Pauline is deeply rooted in the community. She cares deeply about every person, both massage therapist and client alike, who walks in the doors of Hands On Therapy. She looks forward to many more years of providing the highest quality of massage therapy to Chicago's North Shore community.
